HOUSTON
Planned this trip on a complete whim, but used it to tour a few coffee shops and see some of my closest friends. I spent the entire day today exploring downtown Houston on foot. I'm exhausted, but found a plethora of amazing and beautiful places.
My favorite was The Honeymoon. I spent a good few hours here editing and enjoying the Houston rain. Boomtown Roasters roasts in house and the coffee showed technical know how and was consistantly delicious.
Tout Suite had an amazing atmosphere and good food. Met My friend Adam here for lunch.
Minuti was a cool European coffee shop. By the time I hit here, I had been backpacking for 12 hours. I was over caffienated and too exhausted. It was tasty, but I was ready for a nap.
We hit Epoch in Austin on the second day. This coffee was definately the best tasting, but not my favorite aesthetically. It was surrounded by thrift stores and a fun record shop, but the mis-matched style wasn't my cup of tea (or coffee I should say) I think coffee stops are my new favorite thing to do while traveling, my instagram follwers helped so much and I go to see a wide variety of different neighborhoods and streets. Looking forward to my next trip.
